Abstract

This paper points out that, to conceive a multi-paradigmatic science of Law, as proposed by Salvi, that, highlights the coexistence of the disciplinary matrices and highlights their differences, it is also relevant to explain what the coincidences between them may be, that is, what is the common denominator that allows us to speak of a single science and not of a multiplicity of sciences of Law.

In order to do so, we first discuss what the idea of common denominator refers to. Secondly, it is explained why reference is made to the need for a common denominator to determine whether there is a multi-paradigmatic science or multiplicity of sciences. Finally, possible aspects that may function as common aspects among the three disciplinary matrices are presented.
